CAN I USE THIS TO CLEAN MY UNDERCARRIAGE?
The water in the bum gun is clean, the same water you drink from the tap, and yes we would recommend utilizing the bum gun and bum towels for cleaning pre and post-sexual encounters in all regions of the private areas. It is an essential tool for vaginal and anal cleanliness, which therefore is an essential accessory for life!
WILL IT FIT MY TOILET?
The bum gun attaches to a water pipe in the bathroom to get its water and pressure. This is usually off the pipe that fills the cistern. Therefore if your toilet is built in this pipe may not be accessible.

IS IT EASY TO INSTALL AND UNINSTALL?
Yes, it is relatively simple to attach to the existing piping, there are instructions that come with the bum gun. You will usually just need an adjustable spanner and a screwdriver, and hey presto. However, we would recommend using a plumber to ensure that it has been installed according to UK standards and regulations.

I HAVE BEEN USING WET WIPES, DO THESE DO THE SAME JOB?
Wet wipes have been marketed to make you believe that they are suitable to go down the drain, the same as marketers making you think toilet paper leaves you clean, very clever these advertisers, but according to the Guardian wet wipes make up about 93% of the material causing sewage blockages in the UK costing the country about $100 million a year. Also it takes a lot more energy, water and chemicals to make, and has plastic in! So if you are using wet wipes and trying to be more environmentally friendly please stop!
DO THE BUM GUNS JUST SPRAY COLD WATER?
The bum guns use the water from the cold tap, and we like to think of this as a refreshing splash to the rear end in the name of cleanliness.
If you do want hot water we recommend getting a thermostatic mixing valve that mixes hot and cold to get warm water. However, this requires a certain pipe configuration, therefore it is recommended to install this when replacing a bathroom.
CAN IT ONLY ATTACH ON ONE SIDE?
The bum gun attaches to the pipe that fills up the cistern, and thus it is preferable to have it on the same side as this bit of piping. As the hose is 1.5m this is a good length for functionality and not take up too much space.
WHAT IF I HAVE A BAD TUMMY OR AN INFECTION?
If you have had a bad stomach, and could potentially have a bug then it may be a good idea to resort to using disposable toilet paper as this will maximise the chance of getting the bug out of the vicinity and reduce the risk of spreading the infection.
